Primary Care for Adults

Come in for a routine checkup, follow-up care, or a new health concern. Lifetime Primary Care sees adults at our Greystone office in Hoover, Alabama, with phone and video visits available for patients in multiple states. New patients are welcome. Same-week appointments are often available.

What Can We Help With?

Your primary care provider is often the first person to call when something feels off. You can also schedule a visit when it has been a while since your last checkup or an ongoing condition needs attention.

Primary care services include:

  • Routine wellness visits and preventive screening guidance

  • Evaluation of new symptoms and common illnesses

  • Ongoing care for diabetes, hypertension, asthma, thyroid disorders, and related conditions

  • Prescription and medication management

  • Laboratory testing, imaging orders, and specialist referrals

  • Mental health assessment and medication follow-up

Routine Checkups and Preventive Care

During a wellness visit, we can review your blood pressure, health history, recommended screenings, immunization advice, and any lab work you may need.

This is also a good time to bring up sleep problems, stress, sexual health, weight changes, or another concern that has been easy to postpone. Recommendations depend on your age, medical history, current conditions, medications, and individual risks.

When You Feel Sick or Something Has Changed

Schedule a visit when a symptom starts, keeps returning, or has not improved. We see many common concerns, including allergies, sinus symptoms, sore throats, headaches, nausea, urinary symptoms, and skin problems.

After evaluating the problem, we’ll discuss whether you need medication, lab work, home-care instructions, follow-up, or further evaluation.

VIEW CONDITIONS WE TREAT

Ongoing Care for Chronic Conditions

Diabetes, high blood pressure, asthma, and thyroid disorders often require regular follow-up. These appointments give us time to review lab results, medication effects, and any changes since your previous visit.

Your treatment plan can be adjusted as your health changes. When a concern requires specialty care, we can also help with the referral process.

Mental Health Care Through Primary Care

Anxiety, depression, insomnia, and attention problems are common reasons to speak with a primary care provider. Lifetime Primary Care offers mental health assessments, medication management, and referrals when counseling or specialty care is needed.

Therapy and counseling are not provided at the practice.

Prescriptions, Tests, and Referrals

Primary care appointments can also be used to review prescriptions, discuss possible side effects, or go over recent test results.

When testing is needed, your provider can order laboratory work or diagnostic imaging. If you need to see a specialist, the team can begin the referral process and explain any required follow-up.

What to Expect at Your Appointment

Your provider will ask about the concern that brought you in, your medical history, and the medications or supplements you currently take. Bring any recent lab results or medical records that may be helpful.

Depending on the reason for your visit, you may have an examination, receive a prescription, or be sent for testing. If you have several concerns, we may need another appointment to cover everything properly.

Before the visit ends, we’ll go over any prescriptions, tests, referrals, or follow-up appointments.

Office and Telehealth Visits

Office appointments are available at our Greystone location:

5511 US 280, Suite 223
Hoover, AL 35242
Phone: (205) 774-0309

Telehealth can be used for some medication follow-ups, chronic condition check-ins, mental health concerns, and lab result reviews. Some symptoms require a physical examination or in-office testing, so the team may recommend an office visit instead.

New patients should complete the online registration forms before their first appointment.
